I was planning on watching a half of Bellarmine mens and womens teams today but I never got around to it. So I'm going based on the numbers without the benefit of an eye test. No common opponents either.
It's very possible that both series end up a split. But that's not what I'm going to predict.
Men: I think back to the first half of the Liberty game when Rogers and Youngblood combined for 26 points (the less said about the 2nd half the better.) If something like that happens again then KSU can pull out a win. But until KSU shows me they can play for 40 minutes, and actually close out a game, I can't pick them to pull off an upset. Men get swept.
Women: I think KSU is better, but are they good enough to sweep? I was tempted to predict a split; I wish I knew the status of Piccolino, both teams are 1-5 in conference and tied for 7th, the game is at Bellarmine, and I think KSU and Stetson are relatively equal -- and Bellarmine and Stetson split their series. KSU is better and I'm going to roll with that -- Women sweep.
