Glad we got the win. Happy for the players and for all the fans that showed up for homecoming.
Again, a lot of work to be done. Needing OT to beat a 1-6 annual doormat isn't good. Our offense just can't do much not being able to cut block on the outside and downfield. The coaches have got to adjust, but hats off for figuring things out on the last two drives + OT. We were lucky to still be in it at that point though, we had several big breaks go our way, from their starting QB missing a big chunk of the 4th quarter, to that comical RB pass they decided to try after gashing us all the way down the field. Our cover 4 defense at the end of each half was absolutely mystifying. At this point, you just know what's gonna happen. Is anything ever gonna change? 3 more personal fouls as well.
I don't want to be completely negative after a win. Stand-out performances by Daniels (he needs to get the ball more) and Hill on offense, and Markeith on D (who had a monster game). Hats off to Shepherd for battling it out to the end and making the big throws when they counted. We would've had no chance without these guys. Enjoy the victory boys.
