A Monday update from Bradley:
The ASUN Tournament runs through Kennesaw
Kennesaw State, which finished first in its conference, will open tournament play Tuesday night at home against the winner of the 9-versus-10 game. Should the Owls reach the final, it will be played Saturday at 3 p.m. at the KSU Convocation Center.
ESPN’s Bracketology shows Kennesaw as a No. 15 seed, facing No. 2 Texas in Round 1 of the Big Dance. The NCAA’s NET rankings have KSU as the nation’s 120th-best team. That’s better than Georgia (147), Georgia Tech (205) and Georgia State (290).
Jonas Hayes’ first season as Panthers coach hasn’t gone well. They’re 10-20, having won once since Jan. 14; they finished last in the Sun Belt. Georgia State’s season could end Tuesday in Round 1 of the Sun Belt Tournament.
