The women let AP take an 11-0 lead in their play in game last night held at Stetson. They had a great 3rd quarter and led at the end of the quarter. They held the lead til halfway thru the 4th quarter when the wheels fell off and AP won going away.
Interesting juxtaposition between the mens and women's team. The men's team chunked up 3's at every opportunity and are now ranked 13th in the country in the number of 3's shot per game (which is actually down from the 6ish position that they held most of the year).
The women ranked 340th in both the number of 3's shot per game and the number of 3's made per game. Their 3 point percentage is 318th.
Both teams shot the 3 poorly. At least Coach Blue recognized that fact.
