The Owls travel to Asheville for a rematch with the Drew Pember and the Bulldogs on Saturday. The game is at 2PM.

It will be hard to match the drama of the most recent meeting, but expect a hard fought battle between these 2 defending conference champs.

I was going to take a look at what the computers say about the game, but UNC-A plays tonight (Thursday) against a good App State team so I'll wait til that game is over and the stats fed into the computers.

UNC-A beat a good Appalchian State team last night on a neutral court which slightly changed the computers predictions.

Massey still ranks KSU higher and still predicts a 1 point UNC-A win due to the mythical home court advantage.

Pomeroy had the biggest change after last nights result. He now has UNC-A ranked higher than KSU, and has increased UNC-A predicted margin of victory from 1 point to 3.5 points.

NCAA NET contnues to rank KSU higher than UNC-A.

KSU won the first matchup, but needed a great play at the end of the game to get to overtime (when that play developed I thot UNC-A had the game won) and then a great shot at the end of OT to get the win. This game easily could have gone the other way.

KSU may have the better team, but UNC-A has the best player on the court. Should be a good one.

Indiana, who KSU plays next week, beat UNA last night 83-66 to go 2-0 against the ASun this year. They beat FGCU in their season opener 69-63.
