Should KSU drop the LAX program?

LAX is not a big sport in the southeast, therefore, our recruiting is not good. Our old AD Vaughn Williams
was from the northeast and he was the one who chose LAX because of the addition of football. LAX is not a popular sport among KSU fans, they have been under performing, and LAX attendance is very low. Do you all think we should drop the LAX program? CUSA also does not have LAX.

I'm not a Title 9 expert, but if KSU drops LAX would they need to add another women's sport? If so, then beach volleyball (which is a CUSA sport) would be the obvious choice. And if LAX is not a CUSA sport then perhaps it makes sense to downgrade it to club or intramural level.

bb_fan Yeah, we would have to get another sport. I would like gymnastics personally but beach volleyball would be the best option. We also already have a club girls LAX team.

I know a way that we can win in lacrosse (or any other women's sport) and it would be an immediate worst to first fix. We just need to make changes in our recruiting philosophy 😉.
