Firing a coach midseason, this being the first season in FBS nonetheless, is counter productive and is in my mind unethical (unless he did something to damage the universities reputation). In addition, to the perception that would give any potential head coach candidate. Why would they risk coming to KSU just to get fired after the first rough stretch. Schools with larger marketing power can kind of get away with it, but KSU is not at that level. That type of strategy dis not work so well for Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Auburn, ect... Two of those schools finally figured it out and stuck with the coaches they have now and are doing just fine. Do I think Bo is the right guy to take KSU to where I believe KSU has the potential to reach, I do not think so. But, we have to give him some grace for where he has taken the program.
