What bowl games would you like to see KSU play in and who would you like us to play against?

Hopefully it's somewhere reasonably nearby so we could have a decent amount of fans make the trip. Other than that, it doesn't really matter, the bowls are all basically the same now. Obviously wanna avoid the Independence Bowl, but other than that, anything would be fine.

As to who we play? Obviously it would be great for Georgia Southern to get bowl eligible (probably not gonna happen though) and play them for the first time. Would love to beat them. If not them, then hopefully we can luck out and draw a 6-6 P4 team. A win against a P4 would be huge for our program.

Out of the bowls that CUSA has tie ins with and possibility of being in I would put Independence Bowl or New Orleans Bowl. Independence Bowl has a chance to be against a 6-6 P4, and New Orleans would be a cool city. Cure bowl would be the closest and Orlando is not a bad spot either. Frisco is a good bowl but the furthest away.

Not really, but I think a better opponent is more important than a location.

I could argue Both. Would definitely love to play a power 4 school, but also hope we can get a lot of fans there and sell a lot of tickets.

Be curious what each of these bowls pays out to participating programs too.

Since the Owls won't be the top-ranked conference champion, I suppose wherever they have the best shot at winning and getting a nice payout given money means so much these days.

I’ve seen Kansas state and coastal Carolina both mentioned as possible match ups.

Not my first choice for bowl game or opponent. Feel like we deserved a better bowl and intriguing match up. 11:00am on a Friday is also not ideal. That said, I am just happy we are bowling. The one positive is we are playing another conference champion and can hopefully assert CUSA dominance.

I think we were all hoping to take on a P4 program, but I really don't see anything wrong with this matchup. A conference champion from a peer conference should be fun and interesting and is honestly what bowl games should be. CUSA champion vs MAC champion, both teams should be excited. And Western Michigan is a good program, they have a winning history. It's not like playing Eastern Michigan or something, we're playing a team that real college football fans have heard of.

So I like the match-up overall, and the location, just hate the start time.

BurialGround agree 100%. Although having fridays off work mitigates my dislike for the start time, so overall I'm very happy with this one. Will definitely be attending, now the only question is whether to drive or fly.

If a bowl game could capture the top 2 conference champs not in the CFP each year, that would be a great bowl that G5 schools would strive for. This year it would be Duke and Boise. You'd get some great matchups and a realistic goal each year for G5s that are competing for their conference championships.
