I was thinking that USF basketball roster would fill up faster than KSU's basketball roster. Less than a week of the Press conference and it appears that all scholarship offers have been taken up, or at least four, if not all five. USF still has openings, it appears. This is why, with the right leadership, KSU is a hotspot. I am sure that USF will get the key players, but KSU filled up fast.
USF is going through a complete rebuilt, our three key guys are still here, TB, Demond, Cottle, plus the rest of the team. Plus, we still have these key players as of now, Armani Harris is one player that I am watching, he didn't get a lot of playing time, but he has been in the system for four years now, and interesed to see the development of Cole LaRue.
One thing the current players already have in the roster is that they already have team chemistry and have been a vital part of team practices. I know we are looking ahead onto Conference USA, but we have a big chance at ASUN, with JSU and Liberty leaving. ASUN is still a strong conference, but I think we will be competitive. I think our home crowd can propel the team to success. Biggest lesson that William Small preached (per AAR), take care of business at home.
We haven't even officially assembled a staff yet, and the roster is pretty much full. KSU always had the potential for this, but never connected until now.
