I think it is safe to assume that most of the team would want to go with AAR. There will be several spots open on USF roster. It also means that some other players have to graduate or leave USF, to make room for any other incoming transfers to USF. Naturally, the whole KSU roster can't transfer to USF. But these interim coaches could be "Facilitating" the transfers until these coaches move to USF, before the hiring of other coaches, if that is the intent. These players are loyal to AAR, not to KSU.
Nonetheless, it is interesting to see the rumor mill, one Twitter account states that Pershin Williams will be joining an ACC school. I want to know where Milton Overton is right now and what Parker Executive people are thinking. They did hire Parker Executive last time, ended up going with AAR.
What disappoints me from Coach AAR is that he never said goodbye to KSU or the Owl nation, it's one thing if a coach is fired, but another when the coach chooses to leave for a better opportunity after something they build, it's not obligatory, but would have been a good conclusion. He went straight to the new opportunity without any closing remarks for KSU, which could have come from concerns of AD being a mess. He primarily gave credit to the President in some of his press conferences and sometimes left out the AD. Even when KSU won the KSU Tournament Championship, the President spoke and gave the mike to AR and he thanked the KSU President. (This is another discussion)
If any of the current assistant coaches including Pershin Williams, becomes Head Coach, I am satisfied, they know the team, they know the routine, and they make this group successful for the next year.
