HootyHooKSU Wingman not surprising. He's a good coach, good recruiter and runs a balanced offense. I like Pettway, but I do miss Abdur-Rahim. I Think Pettway might be a slightly better recruiter, but I think Abdur-Rahims offense helps develops the players a little better.

HootyHooKSU Wingman same here. I'm not the biggest fan of chucking up quick 3s. But I could just be getting old. I catch myself saying defense wins championships and watching old Spurs highlights on YouTube . Younger me thought the Spurs were boring lol

HootyHooKSU bb_fan I think he needs to teach the players to be smarter. I have nothing against going fast, and often id encourage it. But there's a difference between a quick shot and a rushed shot. A lot of times it feels like our guys rush to take a 3. They'll get the ball swung to them and their feet will be crossed or the pass will be off. And instead of resetting, they'll throw up a quick brick. I'm all for a the quick shot if the player is in rhythm or their on balance. But that's just not the case with our players for a lot of their attempts.
Kmase14 HootyHooKSU I agree, I like the offense but the team needs to mature in it. Play fast and take the the first open shot is great but they (especially Cottle) may be “open” but they aren’t set and instead of setting and shooting, which may mean they aren’t open then leading to having to pass, they take the bad “open” shot.
Wingman I wonder what this is about: The Atlantic Sun Conference, Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida have made the decision to postpone the Women's Basketball contest between Jacksonville and North Florida due to health and safety concerns with the Jacksonville program. The game is now scheduled for Feb. 15, 2024, with a 7 PM tip time.

bb_fan Last year USF was 14-18 and 7-11 in conference. Don't look now, but they take our coach, he takes 3 of our players with him, and the Bulls are 18-5, 11-1 in conference, and on a 10 game winning streak. Nice move USF. Kinda makes ya wonder what if...
